being guided by provisions of the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan signed in Moscow on July 31, 1992

based on the Agreement on the interaction of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the independent states in the field of fight against crime signed in Alma-Ata on April 24, 1992 and the Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan signed in Moscow on July 31, 1992

being effective in development of provisions of the Agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs in fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances signed in Kiev on October 21, 1992

proceeding from desire to support and strengthen interaction between the divisions of the Parties which are engaged in fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Being effective within the competence and with compliance with law and international treaties of the states, the Parties according to provisions of this agreement will cooperate in the prevention, identification, suppression and disclosure of the crimes connected with illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances (further - "drugs").

Article 2

The cooperation of the Parties will perform, in particular, in the following directions and forms:
