being guided by provisions of the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan of July 31, 1992,
understanding importance of bilateral ties in the field of tourism and considering them as important and necessary factor of expansion and strengthening of friendship between the people of two states,
wishing to create the legal basis for further enhancement of tourist exchange between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan on the principles of equality and mutual advantage,
agreed as follows:
The parties will strengthen and encourage cooperation in the field of tourism between two states according to the legislation of both states, this agreement and other international agreements in which the Parties participate.
The parties will promote establishment of business contacts between the Russian and Turkmen tourism organizations, associations and the companies performing joint venture for the purpose of servicing of tourists, to development of both group, and individual tourism, exchange of specialized groups including for visit of exhibitions, fairs, conferences, the symposiums and seminars held concerning tourism in the territory of the states of each of the Parties.
The parties will aim at simplification of the boundary, customs and other formalities connected with tourist exchange between two states.
The parties will encourage exchange between the public tourist administrations of information in the field of tourism.
