About the organization of activities of exchange bureaus and Items in the Kyrgyz Republic
General provisions
The instruction regulates activities of authorized banks of their exchange points, and exchange bureaus according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Exchange points, exchange bureaus will be organized for the purpose of creation of conditions for residents and nonresidents of the Kyrgyz Republic according to the address of foreign currency to legal means of payment of the Kyrgyz Republic (som) and vice versa, on the basis of the market exchange rate.
Exchange points, exchange bureaus depending on conditions can be permanent, temporary, stationary and portable.
1.1 "Authorized banks" are the banks which obtained the license of National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right of carrying out foreign currency transactions.
1.2 "Exchange points" are the menyalny offices created by authorized banks.
1.3 "Exchange bureaus" are the menyalny offices created by legal entities or physical persons, and which obtained the license of National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right of carrying out exchange transactions.
2.1 Authorized banks, exchange points and exchange bureaus have the right, based on the license of the Kyrgyz Republic granted by National Bank freely to buy and sell foreign currency without any restrictions.
2.2 The authorized bank, exchange bureau shall represent to National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic all necessary reports and all necessary documentation on the work in the terms established by National Bank.
2.3 Authorized banks, exchange bureaus, bear responsibility for timeliness of submission to National Bank and reliability of reporting data on the made exchange transactions.
