1. The procedure of transfers of foreign currency from the Republic of Tajikistan and to the Republic of Tajikistan without opening of the current currency accounts (further in the text "Procedure") establishes rules of implementation of transfers in foreign currency without opening of the current currency accounts in authorized banks at the request of physical persons (residents and nonresidents) from the Republic of Tajikistan, and also obtaining by physical persons (residents and nonresidents) in the Republic of Tajikistan of the foreign currency converted in their advantage from abroad.

The procedure does not extend to individual entrepreneurs (residents and nonresidents). Individual entrepreneurs make transfer of foreign currency from the Republic of Tajikistan and receipt of the converted foreign currency in the Republic of Tajikistan according to the foreign exchange legislation only through the current currency accounts opened in authorized banks. The procedure does not extend also to transfers of foreign currency by physical persons from the Republic of Tajikistan and obtaining by physical persons of the foreign currency converted to the Republic of Tajikistan if the specified transfers are connected with implementation of business or investing activities and acquisition of rights the real estate.
