The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic Kyrgyzstan, hereinafter referred to as "Parties",

being guided by aspiration to further development of cooperation in the field of transport,

wishing to facilitate implementation of freight and passenger traffic between both countries, and also transit transportations on their territories to the third countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will develop and deepen mutual economic and sci-tech cooperation in the field of all modes of transport.

Article 2

Each of the Parties provides in the territory, on the principles of reciprocity, favorable conditions for the functioning of all modes of transport of other Party transporting passengers and loads between both countries and transit across their territories.

Article 3

The transportations of passengers and loads performed by carriers of one of the Parties on the territory of other Party based on this agreement and also the vehicles which are carrying out these transportations are exempted from taxes and the state charges connected with use or content of roads and other means of communication, ownership or use of vehicles, and also taxes and fees on the income and profit received from transportations.

Article 4

The parties agreed to keep the existing rules, provisions, instructions, standards and specifications regulating work of transport.

Change, and also introduction of the new regulating documents infringing on interests of other Party are made under approval between competent authorities of the Parties.

The parties will aim to provide standardization of the transport legislation existing in their territories.
