being interested in providing the situation of stability on external borders of the State Parties of the CIS and increase in responsibility in this question of each of them within the Commonwealth,
expressing determination and from now on to provide immunity and inviolability of these borders for the sake of quiet life and safety of the people and the states and their territorial integrity,
proceeding from the fact that the mode of the specified border and procedure for its protection are defined by the relevant legislation and international treaties
recognizing that one of effective remedies of achievement of these is more whole coordination, cooperation and operational interaction of frontier troops, services of the state (national) security, internal affairs, customs authorities, services of phytosanitary control and consular services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth is,
agreed as follows:
In this agreement the Parties understand sites of frontiers of the State Parties of the Commonwealth with the states which are not entering the Commonwealth as external borders of gosudarstvuchastnik of the CIS.
Each of the Parties performs proper measures on providing the situation of stability on external borders. The parties will observe strictly and steadily the relevant legislative provisions concerning the mode of frontier, boundary regime and protection of frontier, as well as relating to external border of each State Party of provision of the corresponding international treaties concerning borders and their mode, accepting everything provided by the mentioned legal acts and agreements of measure.
