About interaction of the State Parties of the Commonwealth in the field of geodesy, cartography, the inventory and remote sensing of Earth
The governments of the State Parties of this agreement (further referred to as - the Parties),
proceeding from mutual aspiration to development of mutually beneficial cooperation between geodetic and cartographic services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,
agreed as follows:
The parties determine and pursue coordinated policy in the field of geodesy, cartography, the inventory and remote sensing of Earth, develop and perform interstate programs in this sphere, and also provide training of the corresponding specialists.
Mutual exchange on the basis of bilateral agreements by initial geodetic, cartographic materials and materials of space shootings on territorial accessory shall carry out the parties.
For accomplishment of the provisions provided in Articles 1 and 2 of this agreement Interstate council on geodesy, cartography, the inventory and remote sensing of Earth is created.
Its functions, procedure for financing and creation of working bodies, residence are determined by the Provision approved by this agreement (is applied).
Participation in this Agreement does not affect the rights and obligations of the Parties under earlier signed agreements, and also under agreements which can be signed in the future.
The parties jointly develop the procedure, rules and procedures concerning responsibility for violation of provisions of this agreement.
This agreement becomes effective from the moment of its signing.
This agreement is open for accession to it of any other state interested in goal achievement and this agreement tasks.
