Article 1

The parties were determined that in case of production in Turkmenistan of 80,15 of one billion cubic meters of gas, the share of Turkmenistan in the total amount of natural gas export in 1993 will constitute 11,3 of one billion cubic meters of gas.

The Turkmen side will provide in 1993 supply of the specified gas (without its technological expense) to the Russian Federation.

Article 2

The Russian Federation will perform payment of the Turkmen gas in amount of 11,3 of one billion cubic meters in freely convertible currency and goods under general conditions of contracts of the Russian joint stock company "Gazprom" for gas export to Europe, and also will provide transit of the specified gas amounts to borders of the states of the Commonwealth with importing countries.

Article 3

Turkmenistan will provide timely payment of transit of gas across the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine to borders of gosudarstvimporter in rubles at the price stipulated in the free standing agreement with the Russian joint stock company "Gazprom".

In case of change of conditions of transport on the territory of Ukraine and the states of Europe these changes will belong also to the gas exported from Turkmenistan.
