About further enhancement of control of entrance, departure and transit of foreign vehicles
For the purpose of further enhancement of control of entrance, departure and transit stay in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of foreign vehicles, the Cabinet of Ministers decides strengthenings of fight against drug traffic and smuggling:
1. Establish since January 1, 2009 rates of the additional charge for entrance and transit across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the foreign cargo vehicles and buses crossing Frontier of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Republic of Tajikistan according to appendix No. 1.
2. Determine that payment of the additional charge for entrance and transit from each foreign vehicle is performed in national currency of "bags" in non-cash form or commercial banks directly on customs posts at check points through Frontier of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Republic of Tajikistan in cash form or with transfer of the received funds through departments of commercial banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the account of Republican road fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Central Bank rate of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the date of payment.
3. To committee on protection of Frontier of Service of homeland security, State Customs Committee and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
strengthen control of entrance and departure through check points of Oybek (The Tashkent region) and Andarkhan (The Fergana region), and also behind transit across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of foreign vehicles;
