Ukraine treats the few states which own complete cycle of creation of the aircraft equipment, and takes important place in the world aviation market in the sector of transport and regional passenger aviation.
Results of research of capacity of the companies of the aviation industry testify to completely possible growth in volumes of development and production of the aircraft equipment, in particular in such directions as aircraft construction (regional passenger and transport airplanes), aviation engine building, aviation agregatostroyeniye, the onboard radio-electronic equipment oriented to use of satellite communication systems, navigation and observation, extralight and easy aircraft, helicopter engineering, unmanned aerial vehicles.
At the same time decrease in scientific and technical and technological potential of the aviation industry, growth of lagging of Ukraine in this industry from the developed foreign states, inefficiency of mechanisms of stimulation of innovative activities, emergency of the fixed business assets of the companies and structure of their personnel potential, low product competitiveness of the domestic aviation industry cause the necessity in the immediate solution of organization-legal, financial, economic and other problems of its functioning and development.
