According to provisions of the Law No. 1432-XIV of December 28, 2000 on procedure for establishment and review of minimum wage (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, No. 21-24, of the Art. 79), with subsequent changes and amendments, DECIDES: the Government
1. Establish since January 1, 2009 minimum wage over the country in the amount of 600 lei a month at the average monthly duration of working hours of 169 hours that constitutes leu 3,55 in hour.
If according to the law duration of working hours constitutes less than 40 hours a week, the hour minimum wage is estimated in economic agents proceeding from ratio of the minimum monthly salary provided by this Item to average monthly number of hours of working hours according to the approved operating mode.
2. Declare invalid the Order of the Government No. 575 of May 25, 2007. "About establishment of the size of minimum wage over the country" (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, No. 74-77, of the Art. 608).
