About temporary procedure for certification of the lawyer
For the purpose of providing requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 31, 2008 "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with enhancement of institute of legal profession" (Collection of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2008, N 52, of the Art. 514) (further - the Law) I order to N ZRU-198:
1. Take into consideration that according to article 7 of the Law the lawyer bureaus operating by January 1, 2009, boards and firms, and also the lawyers working in them shall bring till July 1, 2009 forms of business of lawyer bureaus, boards and firms, licenses and the statuses of lawyers into compliance with the Law.
Reduction of the status of the lawyer in compliance with the Law is confirmed by the certificate of the lawyer of the new sample approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the established procedure.
2. Determine that the certificates which are earlier issued to lawyers by the relevant lawyer bureaus, boards and firms are effective up to issue with it by judicial authorities of certificates of the lawyer of new sample.
3. Consider prolonged to certification of new sample effective periods of the certificates which are earlier issued to lawyers by the relevant lawyer bureaus, boards and firms which effective periods expired after December 31, 2008.
4. Make state registration of this order and enter the corresponding record in the State register of regulatory legal acts of the ministries, state committees and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
