For the purpose of increase in efficiency of activities of the CIS and strengthening of cooperation in the field of power Council of heads of states of the Commonwealth of Independent States solved:

1. Determine cooperation in the field of power the key sphere of interaction of the State Parties of the CIS in 2009.

2. Create the Working group at the level of deputy managers of departments of the sphere of power with involvement of representatives of bodies of industry cooperation for development of offers on cooperation in the field of the approved energy policy of the State Parties of the CIS.

3. Charge to Executive committee of the CIS to organize the first organizational meeting of the Working group in January, 2009.

4. This Decision becomes effective from signature date.

It is made in the city of Bishkek on October 10, 2008 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in Executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed this Decision, its verified copy.
