The governments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
proceeding from need of combination of efforts on control of radiation, chemical and biological situation on objects of the Ministries of Defence of the states of the Parties,
agreed as follows:
For the purposes of this agreement the following determinations are used:
"radiation, chemically and biologically dangerous object" - object on which store is processed, used or transport radioactive materials, toxic chemicals or biological means on which in case of accident or in case of destruction of which there can be death either radioactive, or chemical, or biological infection of people, farm animals and plants, and also the surrounding environment;
"object of the Ministry of Defence of the state of the Party" - military unit or the organization of armed forces of the state of one of the Parties.
The parties interact in the field of control of radiation, chemical and biological situation on objects of the Ministries of Defence of the states of the Parties by provision of information on its change and threat of distribution of radioactive materials, toxic chemicals and biological means in the territories of the states of the Parties.
For this purpose the Parties create the Integrated control system and estimates of radiation, chemical and biological situation of the Ministries of Defence of the states of the Parties (further - the Joint system).
