The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
agreed as follows:
The parties will perform agreed measures on providing the existing procedure for passing of military service, transfer, dismissal from military service and provision of pensions of officers, ensigns, warrant officers and the military personnel of extra urgent service in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The parties will not interfere with officers, ensigns, warrant officers and military personnel of extra urgent service in transfer from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and vice versa in the presence on that the bases provided by the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Any of the Parties will not allow any pressure upon the officers, ensigns, warrant officers and the military personnel of extra urgent service who declared desire to be transferred from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and vice versa and also will not allow infringement of the rights and freedoms of the specified military personnel.
Transfer of the officers, ensigns, warrant officers and military personnel of extra urgent service who declared desire to be transferred for further service from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan is made by the decision of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation after receipt of consent or request of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
