About conventional financial unit

This Law establishes rules of calculation in the Azerbaijan Republic of the salary, the state fees, onetime charges, penalties, financial sanctions and other payments charged on the basis of minimum amount of the monthly salary.

Article 1

If in the laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Azerbaijan Republic the salary, the state fees, penalties, financial sanctions and other payments charged on the basis of minimum amount of the monthly salary are not established in absolute figures, then they are calculated in conventional financial unit.

Article 2

Establish conventional financial unit in the amount of 1 manat 10 kopeks.

Article 3

In the laws of the Azerbaijan Republic adopted to the introduction of this Law in force in the cases specified in article 1 of this Law, the word "minimum wage" shall be replaced with words "conventional financial unit" in the corresponding cases.

Article 4

This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2001.
