Approve Regulations on procedure for calculation and payment in the Government budget of Ukraine of assignments from payment for gas transit by pipeline transport through the territory of Ukraine it (is applied).

According to article 24 of the Law of Ukraine "About the Government budget of Ukraine for 1997" payment is entered into the Government budget of Ukraine of assignments from payment for transit of natural gas by pipeline transport through the territory of Ukraine in the amount of, equivalent 0, the 37th US dollar for 1000 cubic meters of gas on each 100 kilometers of distance.

Entering of payments into the Government budget of Ukraine is performed proceeding from amount of the gas transported through the territory of Ukraine since January 1, 1996.

2. Payer of assignments from payment for transit of gas is JSC Ukrgazprom. The amount of assignments from payment for transit of gas is determined by JSC Ukrgazprom independently based on this provision.
