About input of foreign passports of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan containing electronic media of information
For the purpose of ensuring constitutional rights of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, public order and according to article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan I decide:
1. Enact the foreign all-civil, service and diplomatic passports of the Republic of Tajikistan which are the main identity documents of the citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan outside the Republic of Tajikistan, containing electronic media of information.
2. To the government of the Republic of Tajikistan:
- in 3-month time to develop the project of the corresponding regulatory legal acts;
- prepare till May 1, 2009 requirements for the foreign passports containing electronic media of information for the purpose of carrying out the tender;
- take measures for production of the foreign passports of the Republic of Tajikistan containing electronic media of information;
- take measures for financing of production of the foreign passports of the Republic of Tajikistan containing electronic media of information;
- inform in accordance with the established procedure and according to international treaties of the Republic of Tajikistan foreign states on enforcement in the Republic of Tajikistan of foreign passports of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan containing electronic media of information;
- provide issue of foreign passports of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan containing electronic media of information since January 1, 2010;
3. Determine that the foreign all-civil, service and diplomatic passports of the Republic of Tajikistan approved by the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of February 26, 1998 No. 69 "About input of foreign passports of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan" are valid before their replacement with new foreign passports of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.
