Procedure of supervision of safety of movement on transport

1. This Procedure regulates questions of supervision of observance by the companies, organizations, organizations irrespective of patterns of ownership (except the Ministry of Defence, National guard, the State Border Service, Gosspetssvyaz, the SSU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs) regulations concerning safety of flights on aviation, navigation - on sea and river, movements - on rail and road transport (further - safety of movement of vehicles).

2. Supervision is exercised on modes of transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure, State aviaservice, Ukrtransinspektsiy, Ukrmorrechinspektsiy and Ukrzaliznytsy in interaction with other state bodies.

3. Bodies to which functions of supervision of safety of movement of vehicles are assigned:

exercise control over the implementation by the companies, organizations, organizations irrespective of patterns of ownership of regulations for movement safety issues on transport;

exercise supervision of traffic safety of vehicles;
