About work progress on forming of system of collective security

Council of collective security,

for the purpose of acceptance of further practical measures on accomplishment of decisions of the Minsk session of the Council of Collective Security (CCS) of May 24, 2000,

proceeding from need of creation of working central and regional interstate bodies for the organization and coordination of work on forming of forces and means of system of collective security for regions,

considering aggravation of the situation caused by continuous attempts of the international terrorists and religious extremists to destabilize provision in the Central Asian region solved:

1. Approve the work on accomplishment of decisions of the Minsk session which is carried out by Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Ministers of Defense, Committee of secretaries of the Security Councils and the Secretariat of special design bureau.

2. Charge to the Council of Ministers of Defense in interaction with Committee of secretaries of the Security Councils, Council of Foreign Ministers and the Secretariat of special design bureau according to the Plan of the main actions for forming of system of collective security of the State Parties of DKB for 2001-2005 to render practical assistance in development and implementation by the State Parties of DKB of specific measures for creation of regional systems of collective security.

3. Charge to the Council of Ministers of Defense together with Council of Foreign Ministers, Committee of secretaries of the Security Councils of the State Parties of DKB and the Secretary general of special design bureau to prepare and provide offers on forming of collective forces of bystry expansion in the region of Central Asia.

To general (main) headquarters of the State Parties of DKB to prepare specific proposals about the forming mechanism in Central Asia of regional system of collective security, governing bodies and quantitative structure in a month, and also about interaction of regional systems within general system of collective security.

4. It is regular to secretary general of Council of collective security to inform members of council of collective security on the course of accomplishment of this Decision.
