of June 23, 2005

We, Chapters of state members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), at the meeting in year of 60-year anniversary of the Victory over fascism declare intention to increase efforts on strengthening of unity and unity of our countries for the purpose of providing international peace and safety, consolidation of stability in zone of responsibility of the organization.

We consider inadmissible any attempts of audit of results of World War II, review of moral and ethical estimates of this military catastrophic crash of the 20th century. In this regard we welcome acceptance by consensus at the initiative of state members of the CSTO and some other CIS countries at the 59th session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2004 of the resolution on declaration on May 8 and 9 in the Days of remembrance and reconciliations.

Remembering the huge victims suffered in days of the Great Patriotic War, state members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization are full of determination to take active measures on wide collective basis to counteract challenges and threats which the world community, first of all to the international terrorism faced. With satisfaction we note completion in the UN of work on the International convention on suppression of acts of nuclear terrorism which means to open for signing at the forthcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly. Are ready to make the powerful contribution to strengthening of the anti-terrorist coalition, to participate actively in the solution of other urgent international problems, including counteraction to distribution of weapons of mass destruction, drug traffic, smuggling by arms, illegal migration, human trafficking, etc.

Declaring that state members of the CSTO will not begin to remove the first in space weapon of any kind, we hope, as other states will follow our example.

We attach special significance to development of interaction with the United Nations. Are sure that receipt of the CSTO of the status of the observer in the United Nations General Assembly opens additional perspectives in this plan.
