According to the purposes and the principles underlain in the Agreement on collective security and DKB Articles of organization we will and take further measures to strengthening of defense component of the Organization, first of all in respect of expansion of general and regional systems of collective security, to deepen military-political cooperation within the CSTO.

Our states attach special significance to development and strengthening of interaction for the purpose of collective counteraction to new threats and challenges, first of all to the international terrorism. The states of the Agreement on collective security by one of the first directly faced threat of terrorism and raised before the world community question of need of collective repulse to this evil.

Creating the Collective Security Treaty Organization, we intend to make powerful contribution to strengthening of the anti-terrorist coalition, the regional and international security on the basis of the universally recognized norms and the principles of international law in case of the leading and coordinating role of the UN.

Acting from these line items, we consider necessary close coordination and coordination of actions of the world community on final permission of the Afghan crisis and post-conflict development of this country, we support also settlement of the Iraqi problem under the auspices of the UN, we express readiness to take active part in program implementation of the humanitarian assistance and recovery of Iraq.
