The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
noting important role of military cooperation, including concerning preparation of military personnel, based on mutual respect, trust and accounting of interests of each of the Parties,
agreed as follows:
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation provides opportunity to cadets and listeners - the serviceman of the Republic of Uzbekistan to finish training in military schools of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in which they arrived to the signature of this agreement.
The parties perform the coordinated actions directed to preparation of officer personnel proceeding from needs of Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Preparation of military personnel for Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be performed since 1993 in military schools of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation on the basis of the signed contracts.
The parties develop annually the plan of acceptance for study in military schools of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation of the military personnel of Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This plan is developed by the working groups of the Parties till November 15 every year.
The annual plan joins the required number of educational places on complete and short-term training courses, terms of preparation, specialty on which preparation of officer personnel for Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and other questions is planned.
The annual plan is signed by authorized persons of the Parties till December 15 every year.
