The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the hereinafter referred to as Parties,
understanding that the sci-tech cooperation is component of many-sided complex of the bilateral relations,
in view of factor of historically developed scientific and technical and intellectual bonds between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan,
being convinced that the cooperation will promote in the field strengthening of friendship between our countries and the people,
agreed as follows.
The parties will promote creating favorable conditions for further expansion and deepening of sci-tech cooperation between two countries in the areas which are of mutual interest.
The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of natural, technical and the humanities, to encourage the different initiatives directed to support of joint operations, creation of material conditions, realization of joint projects and training of highly qualified personnel.
The list of the directions of cooperation can be added and specified as agreed by the parties.
The sci-tech cooperation between the Parties can be performed in the following forms:
exchange of specialists in science and technology;
exchange of scientific and technical information;
transfer of scientific and technical knowledge and experience;
carrying out joint scientific and technical surveys, and also organization of joint scientific and technological centers, laboratories, scientific groups;
the organization of seminars, symposiums and conferences, scientific and technical exhibitions for the questions which are of mutual interest;
other forms of sci-tech cooperation can be determined by the Parties in addition.
