1. The medal of the Azerbaijan Republic "For courage" is handed for the following:
For the courage shown in the war during fight;
For successful management of combat operations and the shown personal courage;
For the courage shown in case of accomplishment of military duty with risk for life;
For the bravery shown in case of accomplishment of the special order;
For rescuing of human life with risk for life.
2. In the presence of other awards and medals the medal of the Azerbaijan Republic "For courage" is attached to the left side of breast after the medal "For the Homeland".
