Article 1. General provisions

1. In this agreement it is understood under:

- The STATE of DEPARTURE - any state which signed or joined this agreement from which territory the load is taken out to the third states by en route through the territory of other State Parties of this agreement;

- The STATE of APPOINTMENT - any state which signed or joined this agreement, being the place of final purpose of the loads imported from the third states by en route through the territory of other State Parties of this agreement;

- TRANSIT STATES - any states - participants of this agreement through which territory loads are conveyed as transit goods from the third states to the state of appointment or from the state of departure to the third state;

- The PROCEDURE of CUSTOMS TRANSIT - established procedure of transit transportation of goods under customs control from customs of the state of departure (further - customs of the place of departure) to customs of the state of appointment (further - customs of the destination) through transit States;
