The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of the tax income of Georgia which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
in view of the increasing scales of abuse of drugs, the illegal production and drug trafficking and psychotropic substances and precursors constituting big public danger
considering that strengthening of cooperation of Parties to the case of fight against drug trafficking and abuse of them is equitable to radical interests of the people of both states,
considering role of the Parties on identification and suppression of illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances,
aiming at development and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in this area,
in view of provisions of the Single Convention on drugs of 1961, the Convention on psychotropic substances of 1971 and the Convention on fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances of 1988,
agreed as follows:
The parties, on condition of the compliance with laws and rules existing in their states within this agreement will cooperate with the purpose of the prevention, investigation and suppression of illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances and their precursors, referred to as further with "drugs" and "precursors".
The parties will communicate if necessary being of mutual interest:
- about forms and methods of fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances and their precursors,
- about the concrete facts and events connected with illicit movement or intentions of illicit movement of drugs and their precursors from the territory of the state of one of the Parties on the territory of the state of other Party
- about the revealed manufacturers and carriers of drugs and their precursors, about persons concerning whom there are suspicions of participation in drug trafficking,
- about practice of use of special technical means and the trained dogs,
