The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State Customs Service of Ukraine, further - the Parties, based on Article 20 of the Agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs of September 22, 2000, further - the Agreement,
settled the following sales terms of the Agreement and rendering the mutual aid provided by it:
The parties determine divisions and authorize the officials specified in Appendix to the this Protocol on implementation of direct contacts on the questions provided by the Agreement. Application will be updated and in need of it changes will be made. The parties will inform in writing each other on such changes.
The parties will exchange the specified Appendices within 30 days after signing of the this Protocol.
The cooperation provided by the Agreement is performed based on the this Protocol according to the national legal system of the states of the Parties and within powers of the officials specified in Appendix to the this Protocol.
Heads of the Parties will meet if necessary the purpose of assessment of implementation of the Agreement and for discussion of other customs questions which are of mutual interest. The place and time of meetings will be approved in each case separately. If necessary they can authorize for the organization of joint meetings of the officials specified in Appendix to the this Protocol.
1. Requests about assistance and answers to them will be transferred in writing. Oral requests can be accepted, but they shall be confirmed without delay in writing.
