being guided by the Contract on bases of the interstate relations, friendship and cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 30, 1992, the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in military area of March 2, 1994, the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan on further deepening of full cooperation in military and military and technical areas of December 11, 1999,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the applied terms mean:

"safety of airspace of the Parties" complex of the events held by troops (forces) of the Parties for the purpose of prevention, localization and neutralization of safety hazards of airspace from the third states if it does not contradict obligations of the Parties in relation to these states;

"forces and means of air defense and the Air Force" (further forces and anti-aircraft weapons and the Air Force) - connections, the military units and divisions of the Air Force of the Russian Federation and Troops of air defense and the Air Force of the Republic of Uzbekistan used for the benefit of safety of airspace of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan during the threatened period for strengthening of group of troops of air defense and the Air Force of the requesting Party;
