About additional measures for enhancement of the administrative-territorial device of settlements of the Republic of Uzbekistan
According to article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About procedure for the solution of questions of the administrative-territorial device, the name and renaming of toponymic objects in the Republic of Uzbekistan" and in pursuance of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 14, 2005 "About measures for further enhancement of the administrative-territorial device of settlements of the Republic of Uzbekistan" the Cabinet of Ministers decides N PP-120:
1. Take into consideration that decisions of the Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional Kengasha of People's Deputies refer to category of city settlements rural settlements according to appendix.
2. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas:
together with the interested organizations to provide holding the social, economic and legal actions connected with change of category of settlements;
provide observance of the town-planning requirements imposed to the settlements referred to category of city settlements and in two-month time to determine actions for the solution of questions of rational resettlement, development of engineering, transport and social infrastructures;
in a month to take measures for reduction of names of the settlements referred to category of city settlements in compliance with requirements of article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About procedure for the solution of questions of the administrative-territorial device, the name and renaming of toponymic objects in the Republic of Uzbekistan".
3. To the state committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the statistics according to this resolution in two weeks to make in accordance with the established procedure necessary changes to statistics of the rural and city settlements included in appendix.
4. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in connection with reference of rural settlements to category of city settlements to provide application of privileges, stipulated in Item 5 Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 14, 2005 to N PP-120 "About measures for further enhancement of the administrative-territorial device of settlements of the Republic of Uzbekistan", in case of purpose of the salary and retirement of doctors, pharmacists, average medical and pharmaceutical personnel.
5. To the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments in a month:
make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution;
provide reduction of departmental regulations in compliance with this resolution.
6. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azimov R. S. and the Deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kasymov R. S.
