About establishment and application of standard rates of the reserve requirements deposited in National Bank of the Republic of Belarus

Based on Articles 26, the Board of National Bank of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: 31 and 110 Bank codes of the Republic of Belarus

1. Establish for banks and the non-bank credit and financial organizations the following standard rates of required reserves:

from the raised funds of physical persons in Belarusian rubles - 0 percent;

from the raised funds of legal entities in Belarusian rubles - 9 percent;

from the raised funds in foreign currency - 9 percent.

Establish for banks and the non-bank credit and financial organizations for 2009 the periods of accomplishment of reserve requirements according to the schedule according to appendix to this resolution. If period start date of accomplishment of reserve requirements drops out on non-working day, it is transferred to the next working day, and the previous period of accomplishment of reserve requirements increases on such number of days that date of its termination preceded the beginning of the next period of accomplishment of reserve requirements.

2. Establish the standard rate of the fixed part of reserve requirements in the amount of 10 percent.
