About the Nation-wide program "The National Plan of Action concerning Implementation of the Convention of the UN on the Child's Rights" for the period till 2016

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve the Nation-wide program "The National Plan of Action concerning Implementation of the Convention of the UN on the Child's Rights" for the period till 2016 (further - the Program) which is attached.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:

within three months from the date of entry into force of the Law to develop and approve actions concerning execution of the Nation-wide program "The National Plan of Action concerning Implementation of the Convention of the UN on the Child's Rights" for the period till 2016;

by preparation of the bill on the Government budget of Ukraine for the corresponding year to provide expenses on ensuring execution of actions of the Program.

3. To Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the regional, Kiev and Sevastopol city public administrations, local government bodies by preparation of drafts of the relevant budgets to provide expenses for financing of actions of the Program concerning implementation of the Convention of the UN on the child's rights to the period till 2016.

4. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.

Section I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Ukraine as the member of the international commonwealth participates in activities for creation of the circle, favorable for children, in which worthy development and protection of their rights is provided with respect for the principles of democracy, equality, the world, social justice taking into account the moral bases and traditional values of the Ukrainian society directed to consolidation of family and moral health of children in Ukraine.
