About establishment of quota for import of white sugar to the Kyrgyz Republic

According to the subitem 3 of part 1 of article 12 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About state regulation of foreign trade activity in the Kyrgyz Republic" and for the purpose of protection of the domestic market of the Kyrgyz Republic on production of white sugar, the accomplishment of the obligations provided by the Agreement on cooperation between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and Alyans-Prom private company (The Russian Federation, the city of Moscow), signed on April 2, 2009 in the city of Bishkek (further - the Agreement), the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Establish import quota to the Kyrgyz Republic of the white sugar classified by the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity code 1701 99 100 of 84 thousand 500 tons.

2. Approve quota for import of the white sugar to the Kyrgyz Republic specified in Item 1 of this resolution for the companies processors of sugar beet and the companies applying white sugar in production in amounts according to appendix.

3. To the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- carry out monitoring of influence of the measures provided by this resolution on sugar market situation in the Kyrgyz Republic and if necessary to make offers on taking measures, directed to adjustment of situation in domestic market of sugar;

- notify Committee on protective measures of the World Trade Organization and the secretariat of Integration Committee of EurAsEC on the measures of foreign trade activity provided by this resolution.

4. This resolution becomes effective from the date of official publication and is effective within twelve months from the date of entry into force.
