About procedure for representation, consideration and monitoring of projects on voluntary emission reduction of greenhouse gases
For the purpose of realization of provisions of the Framework convention of the United Nations on climate change and the Kyoto protocol to it the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on procedure for representation, consideration and monitoring of projects on voluntary emission reduction of greenhouse gases.
2. To the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection:
perform coordination of activities of republican state bodies, other state organizations subordinated to the Government of the Republic of Belarus, regional executive committees and Minsk Gorispolkom on preparation and projects implementation on voluntary emission reduction of greenhouse gases, and also attraction of financial resources on such projects;
explain questions of application of the Regulations on procedure for representation, consideration and monitoring of projects on voluntary emission reduction of greenhouse gases.
3. To the republican state bodies, other state organizations subordinated to the Government of the Republic of Belarus, regional executive committees and the Minsk Gorispolkom according to their competence in five-months time to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this resolution, to take other measures for its realization.
4. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
