About the state support of pensioners
For the purpose of strengthening of the state support of pensioners:
1. Determine that the citizens who reached retirement age (the man - 60 years, the woman - 55 years), have the right to 50 percent discount from fare on railway, water and automobile passenger common carrier of the regular suburban message (except taxi) for seasonal agricultural works from May 1 to September 30, 2009.
This right is exercised by citizens based on travel documents (tickets) issued to them by the organizations of passenger transport in case of presentation of pension certificates.
2. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus:
provide compensation for the account of means of the republican budget to the organizations of passenger common carrier of the regular suburban message of the expenses incurred in connection with provision to citizens of 50 percent discount from fare according to Item 1 of this Decree;
take other measures for implementation of this Decree.
3. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
