About some measures for strengthening of fight against corruption
For the purpose of increase in efficiency of anti-corruption and according to part three of article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus:
1. Determine that on criminal cases about the crimes provided by articles 424-433 and 455 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus irrespective of the position held by suspected (person accused), pretrial investigation is held by that body which brought criminal case.
2. Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus within two weeks to submit to the President of the Republic of Belarus offers on modification of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Belarus.
3. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its signing, is temporary and according to part three of article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus is submited National assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
The provision of Item 1 of this Decree is effective before entry into force of the law on entering of corresponding changes into the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Belarus.
