About approval and enforcement of the Code of penal procedure of Turkmenistan

Article 1. Approve the Code of penal procedure of Turkmenistan.

Article 2. Enact the Code of penal procedure of Turkmenistan since July 1, 2009.

Article 3. The code of penal procedure of the Turkmen SSR approved by the Law of the Turkmen SSR of December 22, 1961 "About approval of the Code of penal procedure of the Turkmen SSR", and also all laws which made changes and additions to the Code of penal procedure of the Turkmen SSR during the period from December 22, 1961 to July 1, 2009 to consider voided since July 1, 2009.

Article 4. To the ministry адалат Turkmenistan till one month to prepare offers on entering into the legislation of Turkmenistan of the changes and amendments following from the Code of penal procedure of Turkmenistan and in accordance with the established procedure to provide them to Majlis of Turkmenistan.

After the introduction in action of the Code of penal procedure of Turkmenistan the above-stated laws and other regulatory legal acts before their reduction in compliance with it are effective in the part which is not contradicting this Code.
