About the state protection

This Law determines legal and organizational basis of the state protection and governs the relations in the field of the state protection.
For the purposes of this Law the following main terms and their determinations are applied:
safety of the protected person - security of person which is subject to the state protection from the encroachments, processes and the phenomena of natural, technogenic and other nature threatening his life, health and other vital interests connected with execution by this person of ex-officio full powers, its political (public) activities;
safety of the protected object - security of the object which is subject to the state protection from the encroachments, processes and the phenomena of natural, technogenic and other nature menacing to safety of protected persons or normal functioning of the state bodies and other organizations located in the territory of this object;
the state protection - the function of body of the state protection in the field of safety of protected persons and the protected objects performed by it for needs of public administration independently or with attraction of forces and means of other state bodies and other organizations;
safety of protected persons and the protected objects - acceptance of the state protection by body, other state bodies and other organizations of set of the legal, information, security, regime, operational search, technical and other measures directed to forecasting, the prevention, identification and suppression of safety hazards of protected persons and the protected objects;
security action - set of the actions performed by body of the state protection independently or with attraction of forces and means of other state bodies and other organizations aimed at safety of protected persons in places of their stay including on trasses of journey;
