The technical regulation of the Kyrgyz Republic on safety of land vehicles

This Technical regulation (further - Regulations) is developed according to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About bases of technical regulation in the Kyrgyz Republic", establishes the minimum requirements to safety of land vehicles and their components (further - land vehicles) and aims to provide the maximum compliance of requirements of technical regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic to the international requirements and practice in the field of safety of land vehicles.
These Regulations are effective concerning the land vehicles specified in Article 2 of these Regulations, and issued, imported or land vehicles used in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, except for, held for use in the defense purposes or belonging to the objects which are the state secret and also cases when land vehicles are conveyed as transit goods through the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The applicant - physical person or legal entity according to which request assessment of conformity is performed.
Change of design - change of design of the land vehicle which leads to change of any of its technical or operational characteristics.
Categories of land vehicles:
- category L - motor land vehicles (motorcycles, scooters) having two or three wheels;
- category M - the land vehicles set in motion by the power plant, having at least four wheels and intended for transportation of passengers;
- category N - the mechanical land vehicles set in motion by the power plant, having at least four wheels and intended for transportation of goods;
- category O - trail cars and semitrailer trucks;
