About approval of the State Program on enhancement of activities of bodies of homeland security of the Azerbaijan Republic (2007-2011)

Participation of the country in ensuring global and regional security, identification, the analysis, forecasting and prevention of threats of homeland security cause wide use by bodies of homeland security of new technologies and information and communication systems, the last scientific achievements, increase in professionalism of their employees and development of partnership with bodies of intelligence agency of other states.

For the purpose of further enhancement of activities of bodies of homeland security in the field of intelligence and counterintelligence activities, protection of the state secret, and also fight against aggressive separatism, terrorism and transnational organized crime and protection of national interests from other threats, I decide strengthenings of their material and technical resources and social protection of employees:

1. Approve the State Program on enhancement of activities of bodies of homeland security in the Azerbaijan Republic (2007-2011).

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic:

- provide assignment, necessary for implementation of the State Program approved by this Order by preparation of drafts of the government budget in 2008-2011;

- resolve other issues following from this Order.

3. This Order becomes effective from the date of signing.
