Regulations on Heydar Aliyev's award of the Azerbaijan Republic

I. General provisions

1. Heydar Aliyev's award of the Azerbaijan Republic is founded based on the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic of March 10, 2004 No. 38 for the purpose of perpetuating of memory of the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state, the national leader Heydar Alirz to Aliyev's ogl, considering his invaluable merits in the history of Azerbaijan.

2. Heydar Aliyev's award of the Azerbaijan Republic (dalee-Premiya) is provided for:

* special merits in social and political, social, economic, scientific, literary spheres and in the field of art;

* special merits in public service, great professional skills and active participation in public life;

* difference in strengthening of independence and sovereignty of Azerbaijan;

* development of friendship and mutual cooperation in the international relations.
