The State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus as the supreme body of financial control of the Republic of Belarus and the State control of the Republic of Latvia as the supreme body of financial control of the Republic of Latvia, further referred to as with the Parties,

following the principles of mutual respect, trust and partnership,

based on the principles of the International organization of the supreme bodies of financial control (INTOSAI) and the European organization of the supreme bodies of financial control (EVROSAI),

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Proceeding from need of increase in efficiency of interaction between two supreme bodies of financial control as main goal of this Memorandum of the Party cooperate in the following main directions:

experience exchange for the purpose of enhancement of methodology of external state control;

professional training and advanced training of personnel;

exchange of directory materials about activities of the Parties;

the organization of joint research projects and parallel control actions according to the program approved by the Parties.

Article 2

In case of exchange of information and documents within this Memorandum each of the Parties shall observe the current legislation of the state about the international exchange of information, protection of the state secrets and other secret protected by the law.

Article 3

The parties according to the legislation of the states shall provide confidentiality of information obtained within this Memorandum.

Article 4

The parties hold mutual consultations, seminars and conferences on the main problems of external state control.

Article 5

The parties perform exchange of delegations for the purpose of studying of experience in area of external state control.
