agreed as follows:
1. Customs Services of both states will perform customs examination of personal baggage of citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the message between both states only in cases when good reasons to believe are had that are taken weapon, narcotic, psychotropic drugs, currency and cultural values or other customs offense, and also in other cases provided by agreements on customs cooperation which participants are the Parties or their Customs Services can be made.
2. This agreement will be temporarily applied since March 15, 1994 and will become effective from the date of the last notification on accomplishment of necessary interstate procedures by the Parties.
It is made in Moscow on March 2, 1994 in duplicate, everyone in the Russian and Uzbek languages, and both texts are equally authoritative.
