being guided by provisions of the Contract on eternal friendship between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan of October 31, 1998,

in view of uniformity of the operated air fleet and general interest security status of flights and increases in efficiency of actions for prevention of aviation incidents,

based on the principles of mutual trust concerning the applied systems of investigation and prevention of aviation incidents and aviation incidents,

recognizing mutual interest in enhancement of procedures of investigation and provision of data on aviation incidents and aviation incidents of the state aircrafts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan,

confirming the aspiration to build the relations in the spirit of friendship and partner interaction,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the used concepts mean the following:

"aviation incident" - the event connected with flight operation of the state aircraft which led to death (to bodily harm from the death) any person which was onboard this aircraft and (or) loss of this aircraft;

"aviation incident" - the event connected with flight operation of the state aircraft which could create or created threat of integrity of this aircraft and (or) life of persons which were on its board, but did not end with aviation incident;

"the state aircraft" - the aircraft used for implementation of military, border, militia, Customs and other public service, and also for accomplishment of mobilization and defense tasks;

"serious aviation incident" - aviation incident in case of which at least of one of persons which were onboard the state aircraft harm is done to health or circumstances of which specify that aviation incident nearly took place;
