The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Moldova which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

based on the Charter of the World tourism organization approved on September 27, 1970 in Mexico City

recognizing cooperation in the field of tourism as one of important and necessary elements in development and strengthening of friendship between the people of both countries,

aiming to lay the foundation for expansion of the relations in the field of tourism between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties according to national legal systems of both states and rules of international law will promote expansion of tourist exchange between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova for the purpose of acquaintance with life, history, culture of both people.

Article 2

The parties will encourage cooperation between state bodies of management of tourism, and also to promote establishment of direct connections between the tourist associations, the companies and other organizations of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova participating in development of the international and internal tourism.

Article 3

For the purpose of strengthening of tourist bonds of the Party distribution will be assisted in the territory of the state by information on tourist opportunities of the state of other Party in the form of TV spots, radio, in the press, and also through exchange of printing editions and movies, the organization of joint exhibitions, conferences, seminars.

For this purpose the Parties can open national information centers (representations) of state bodies tourism of the countries.

Article 4

The parties will exchange statistical and other information in the field of tourism, including:
