1. The parties will aim at forming of mutually beneficial relations in different areas of international cooperation.

2. The Russian side will make efforts for the purpose of forward development of the relations of the Republic South Ossetia with the third states, and also its participations in activities of the international organizations and conferences of both universal, and regional nature.

3. The parties in the foreign policy activities proceed from mutual interest in recognition of independence of the Republic by the third states South Ossetia, establishment of diplomatic relations or other forms of cooperation with it.

4. The Russian side will promote the entry of the Republic South Ossetia in the international organizations which member is the Russian Federation.

5. The Russian side expresses readiness of the Russian Federation to represent the interests of the Republic South Ossetia in the third states by means of diplomatic representations of the Russian Federation. These activities will be performed on the basis of applicable rules of international law and the corresponding arrangements with the states of stay.

6. The Russian side, within the available opportunities, will give to the South Ossetia Party support in the following forms:

- provision of information on different aspects of the international relations;

- assistance to development of regulatory framework of the Republic South Ossetia in the field of the international relations;

- assistance in preparation of professional personnel for the sphere of the international relations;
