About bases of conscription in the Azerbaijan Republic
The purpose of establishment of military obligation in the Azerbaijan Republic is completing of Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic for accomplishment of the tasks assigned to them according to the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Constitutional act of the state independence of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Law "About Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic".
Tasks of the legislation on bases of conscription in the Azerbaijan Republic are determination of the bases of military obligation, procedure for training of youth for military service, conditions and procedure for appeal and acceptance on military service, procedure for military accounting of persons liable for call-up and recruits, the appeal bases on mobilization and dismissals on demobilization, and also training for Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic and maintenance of permanent combat and mobilization readiness of Armed Forces.
