The governments of the State Parties of this agreement, the "Contracting parties" which further are referred to as, being guided by the Agreement on creation of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 8, 1991 and the aspiration to create common information space, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The contracting parties which signed this agreement through the economic, financial and other bodies, scientific institutions and news agencies perform agreed measures on all-round development of exchange of information, characterizing economic and social situation of the relevant states, implementation of economic transformations, development of economic bonds between Contracting Parties and with the outside world, and publish necessary regulations.

Article 2

Economic, financial and other bodies, scientific institutions and news agencies of the Contracting Parties which signed this agreement provide according to the legislation acting in the states on the bilateral or multilateral basis exchange of economic information and conduct social and economic researches.

Article 3

Exchange of statistical information between Contracting Parties is performed through Statistical committee of the Commonwealth according to the Agreement on creation of statistical service Commonwealths of Independent States and annual programs of methodological and statistical works, and also on bilateral or multilateral basis directly national statistical services.

Article 4

The ministries (departments, the organizations) Contracting Parties create exchange packet of information which covers on mutual basis:

the indicators provided in annual agreements on economic cooperation of the states;

the data which are absent in the materials developed through Statistical committee of the Commonwealth;

other materials which are of mutual interest.
