Regulations on examination of precious metals, gemstones and products from them

I. General provisions

1. This Provision establishes procedure and forms of implementation of examination of precious metals and products from them, prints of assay brands and/or prints of the marks imposed on products from precious metals and also diagnostics of gemstones (further - examination of values).

2. Requirements of this provision are applied when conducting examination of values irrespective of their accessory and appointment.

3. The organization and management of activities for examination of values are performed by Public organization "State Assay Chamber" (further - Assay chamber).

4. Examination of values is performed by studying and testing for submission of the reasonable and objective conclusions.
