aiming at further development and strengthening of the friendship existing between two countries,

wishing to develop cooperation in the field of culture,

agreed as follows.

Article 1

The parties develop cooperation in the spheres of culture which are of mutual interest, encouraging, in particular:

exchange of theater, music bands, certain soloists and contractors;

cooperation in the field of cinematography: exchange of information about the film making, film demonstration organizations and the companies, exchange of movies, participation in film festivals and film forums, assistance to direct contacts of the cinema organizations, creative unions and figures of motion picture art;

participation in the international festivals organized by one of the Parties, exchange of art exhibitions and exhibitions of folk art.

Article 2

The parties encourage cooperation and exchange of information between the museums, libraries and archives of both countries, according to national legal systems of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

The parties will organize bilateral seminars and symposiums on questions of preserving cultural heritage with participation of certain specialists of the relevant state and public organizations.

Article 4

The parties render assistance to participation of the representatives in the international conferences, meetings and tenders concerning culture organized in the states of the Parties.

Article 5

The parties encourage holding meetings of cultural figures, experience exchange and specialists in the field of art education, and also joint cultural programs.
